Show Millard County Medical Laboratory Week people who commit their expertise and energy to enhancing the health and of all people: Now therefore be it Resolved by the Senate and House of Respresentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled that week beginning April 13 1986 in designated as “National Medical Week" and the Laboratory 1986 April Stellar Performers You Can Count On On December 12 1985 Congressman Sherwood Boehlert introduced in the House of Representatives a Joint Resolution designating the week beginning April 13 1986 as “National Medical Laboratory Week" The Resolution pays special tribute to the contributions clinical laboratory professionals make to the provision of health care in this country stating that: Whereas maintenance of and improvement in the quality of laboratory services depends on the dedicated efforts of clinical laboratory professionals Whereas through such dedication clinical laboratory professionals in the United States have made vital contributions to improving the quality of patient care President is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities It is with the utmost pleasure that the Managment of the Delta and Fillmore Community Medical Centers do hereby concur with said proclamation and honor those in the Laboratories by having an open house The general public is duly invited to share this ostensible occasion Refreshments and National Medical Laboratory Week paraphernalia will be given away on April 15 1986 from pm The Laboratories have also given consent to perform ABO & Rh typing and Cholesterol testing free of charge for the week of the 13th during normal working hours c ome out and show your support for these dedicated individuals who serve our communities Whereas the laboratories where these dedicated professionals work bring quality health care services to rural and communities and are found in hospitals clinics research centers universities doctors’ offices and private dependent laboratories Whereas it is fitting that the people of the United States recognize the dedication of the Future events for USU Extension Girl Staters selected by American Legion Auxiliary Cirl State Tea was held Sunday March 16 at the Legion home with Linda Baugh as chairman Eleven outstanding junior girls participated in front of judges Chosen to represent Millard High School were Sharon Koyle Lori Stevens Kerry Bazzel Alternates are Leisa Brown and Cheryle Stevens The Auxiliary would like to thank the following who made contributions to the Auxiliary making it possible for these girls to attend Girls State in Cedar City Fillmore City Holden Town Zions 1st National Bank Millard High School Meadow Town Mushroom King MEA Credit Union and East Millard Find Arts “ business information?
