Show Page 6 - Millard County CSPS Thurs May 30 1985 r LIBRARY NEWS HOLDEN Cherryl Wood f Ph 1“ I - Our sympathy to Lola and Earl of their Stevens on the death Mrs Roy Stevens who was killed in a car accident in Idaho Funeral services were held Tuesday the 21st and burial was in Hyrum Utah Debbie Mitch and Stacia Camp have moved to McCornick where Mitch will be closer to his work at 1PP They have been staying with Pat and Max Debbie's parents Wood to the 1985 MHS Congratulations from Holden: Graduates Ernie Harmon John Gaude Bailey Eric Searle Keith Baker Hargett Bobbette Bennett Becky Thomas Pam Telford and Meredith Miller is visiting his Jack Stephenson Lenora Stephenson mother and brother Raymond and family He returned to his work in Alaska on Saturday May 25 Lila Badger is home after spending in winter Hawaii with her daughter Marilyn Sorensen A warm welcome to Lynette and Paul Higham and their son Zeke who have moved here Paul is working at from Huntington 1PP and they are renting the Emily Johnson home We hope they will enjoy living in Holden Visiting Bill and Ruth Stevens last weekend were Bill's brother Garth and wife Caroline from Virginia It has been 10 years since Bill and Garth have seen each other Also visiting this weekend were Bill’s and Ruth’s three daughters and two Fern and Steve Radford and five children of West Jordan Marie and Kimo Coray and six children of Mona and Rulaine They received word that Anna and Brian Parsons are proud parents of a new baby girl born last week in Brigham City The new baby has five older sisters at home to welcome her This makes 23 grandchildren for Bill and Ruth-and nine granddaughters grandsons Tom Lovell has returned from Augusta Georgia where he played in the Masters Golf Tournament with his friend Johnny Miller He visited in another friend Tallahassee Florida and went fishing on the Gulf of Mexico Tom caught a Amberjack fish while there Tom Lovell and tw’o children Jonathan and Jenny his met parents Lem and June Lovell at the Salt Lake Airport The Lovells had been visiting their son Richard in Boston for 10 days Their daughter Nancy flew to Boston from Phoenix to visit while they were there Ervin Stevens has been a patient in the LDS Hospital for 10 days where a he underwent bypass By Gwen librarian Hunter Animals! Animals! Hogle Zoo will present a special program at the Fillmore City Library on Tuesday June 4 at 3:30 pm slides and live They will bring animals for us to enjoy Everyone is invited including adults There is no charge for this program Story Hour The first session of the summer June Story Hours will be Thursday 6 at 3:30 pm in the Reading Room This is the first of the Library for the Summer Reading Program
