American veterans during ceremonies conducted at area cemeteries on Monday Memorial Day Commander Clayton Edwards gave the welcoming remarks with Jerry Freeman giving the prayer A rifle salute to their fallen comrades was followed by "Taps" played by Jim and Aaron White while Miss Poppy laid a wreath at the foot of the flagpole Post 61 members conducted the rites at the Scipio Cemetery Flolden
