We laughed about an experience we had in Santaquin Elwood had to stop the bus to let a big colorful rooster (who was guarding five ducks) cross the road safely in front of us If we would all take as good care of our friends we could be as proud as he was The Ice Follies were so nice We enjoyed every minute of the two hours we spent there We were happy to have family meet us there and enjoy the follies with us There was still not storm when we came out of the Salt Palace but it did start raining some soon after we got on the freeway and by the time we were finished with our dinner at the snow was getting a good start We were glad to have a good driver He got us through the snow and into Millard County where the roads were only wet We did enjoy our trip and will be looking forward to the next one Thanks to those who do all the planning for us Last Wednesday Afton Dutson and her daughters Darnae and DeeDee gave us a treat by playing selections on the piano Afton has done much good in our area by using her musical talent in so many things that we could all enjoy and after hearing the girls we're sure they are doing the same Thanks to all three of them for giving us such a special afternoon Remember we are bowling Tuesday 9 am to 12 noon The cost is $250 with shoes furnished Come and have fun with the others and see if you can bowl a higher score than Bryant Lar son Bryant is one ol our younger senior citizens and he keeps all of us trying to keep up with him in any game we choose to play We enjoy his cheerful personality The exercise class is still being held Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 to 9:30 All of us need exercise in one way or another and its more fun when you have someone to exercise with We’re still having very good meals Tuesday and Wednesday at 4 pm and Thursday at 12:30 If you plan to come (and we hope you do) please call the center by 12:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday and by 9:30 Thursday for reservations Our St Patricks Day party is getting closer Don’t say didn’t warn you that you will miss a fun evening if you stay home We will begin with a potluck supper at 6 pm and we have a lot of good cooks to bring food We’re sure you will enjoy the remainder of the evening We're looking for a good group from I illmore along with their Senior Citizen Orchestra We send get well wishes to our friends Morgan Howell Morgan May aFay Corey and Al Christensen who are ill at this writing We miss them and hope all will be well with them Happy birthday to Fmery Peterson on Ins 101 birthday have known Mr Peterson for many years and have many fond memories of him and his know family speak for all who knew him when say “We Love you Emery” It’s great to have lived such a useful life and have so many people look up to you He is still going and giving let’s all try to follow in his lootsteps and stay active as he has Hope to see all of you soon Thurs I SPS Millard Count) Wildlife meeting held War 1985 -
