plane along with Clyde’s family and two children of Art Harding’s Their destination was West Covina Calif where they were Dixie guests of Mildred’s daughter Jacobs The 80 and 90 degree weather was in their favor to enjoy swimming at the beach spending time at Disneyland and other places of interest On Tuesday Feb 25 Mildred and her sister Alta Harding rode over to Delta to Shuniway spend some time with their Aunt Lena and Uncle Doyle Steele Their Uncle Doyle was recuperating at home following a stay at the hospital Saturday morning Feb 23 started out to be a very different day in the lives of 30 teens in the Kanosh Girls Program who were kidnapped from their beds early in the AM by their leaders: Paxton Robin Sherry Kesler Verlene Phillips and Sharon Blad Another leader Evelyn Foye was among those kidnapped This breakfast party was planned as a farewell party for Evelyn Foye and her daughter Jennifer who were loaded and ready to move with other to the Salt Lake family members area where husband Brent Foye has employment They were occupying the former Vie Bement home now owned by Jay Robison Mothers of the girls were aware of the plans for this fun occasion but was a complete surprise to the girls They weren't allowed to comb their hare or change their sleeping It was a “Come As You apparel Are” affair and held at the Sharon and Stacey Koyle home A were in large congregation attendance at the Missionary Farewell of Elder George and Sister Velda Behunin which was held in connection with Sacrament Meeting on Sunday Feb 24 Counselor Stan Koyle took charge of the
