Holden Ward at 7 pm Dunford will be the special guest and Mary Davies They announced that their 13 year old son Nathan who is an Eagle Scout will be going to Virginia in June to participate in the Boy Scout Jamboree Among other activities they will tour Wash DC and other points of historical interest Nathan is financing his trip by delivering 200 papers each day on his paper route Giff and Shirlene Davis of SLC stopped in Fillmore at the home of Shirlene’s parents Dean and Paul Robison on their way home from Mesa Arizona where they had been visiting their daughter They took Dean and Paul home with them to SLC Paul went on to Bountiful Tremonton and Logan where he spent a few days visiting members of his with Dean stayed family Shirlene to help her shop and get Jill’s for her ready daughter wedding which will take place on Dec 22 2 Paul’s Dec On Sunday and her Ann Mattie daughter husband Milton Abrams brought Paul back to SLC and his grandson Paul and brought Craig Callister Dean back to Fillmore Upon arriving home Dec 5 at approximately 4:30 Nathan Dean’s grandson pm Groesbeck reluctantly gave them the tragic news that his brother Eugene Groesbeck had been killed that day Dec 5 at 12:30 am in an Oneida accident at the Idaho Power Station near Preston He and where he was employed several other young men had been repairing equipment and were nearly ready to leave the plant when an overloaded pressure valve exploded Eugene was drowned when he was swept away in an onrush of water His funeral was held Friday Dec 7 in Preston where he his wife and On Dec 8 he was children resided buried at the Richfield Cemetery Groesbeck and Karen Nathan drove to Richfield to attend the graveside services They also attended the funeral in Preston as did his four sisters parents
