ages The goal is to educate youth before problems arise and not just treat abuse after it begins This special program is geared at education: understanding parent drug and alcohol abuse detecting it and development As are similar centers in the Jordan Granite and San Juan school district the center in Delta will be operated directly through Millard School District under the governance of the Millard and is equipped Board of Education to train students in a broad range of fields from cosmetology and word processing to welding and the bu’ ling construction trades According to Dr Kent Worthington Associate Superintendent Division of Vocational Education Utah State Office of Education the new center is already proving its value as an answer to retraining demands created by the Intermountain Power Project and other local businesses and industries With planning the district was able to utilize impact funds for this purpose Millard School District is providing between Fillmore a ceremony presented in the 15 1984 Oct Monday Millard Courthouse by County James Congressional Representative Hansen who obtained the 8” x 10" for Mark photo Congressman Hansen said the President
