Show ceeding Friday night. There is j going to be a dance given. All those w'ho have spent at least i one day cleaning up around .j their own homes or public prop- j erty will be entitled to a free ticket. There will be lunches served from a mysterious menu and also laughable sideshows will be had for people to see. So all come out and have a jolly, mysterious time. 3 The last II. E. A. meeting was i held at Mrs. Lulu Cropper's home. The election of officers was postponed until next session. ' Songs were rendered by Bly Moody and Fannie Terry, and a j recitation by Fannie Cropper, j The refreshments served were very delicious. ' The Academy will start Sept. . 18. Most of the Faculty mem- ; bers are here. It is expected i that this year will be better and j more efficient than ever before, j and we only hope that our be- liefs will be realized. ! Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Langston are in our circles again and he is quite sure he has come to stay. j Miss Lulu Cropper has gone to j Salt Lake to study the milliner's j trade. She expects to have a j first-class up-to-date line of fall j and winter hats. j Mrs. Clara Stewart has re- ; turned from the city and is slow- -ly improving from her serious health condition. Work on the drain will commerce com-merce in a very short time. The trenching machine has arrived t and a demonstrator is on his way here to demonstrate the working 1 of the trenches and then definite t work will begin. c We see Ingof Norman on our s streets again. M. Wright. A most enjoyable L time was had in playing games L and having music. Light re- I'reshmenta were also served. , Dr. and Mrs. Broaddus have gone to Salt Lake in their car to attend the funeral of Mrs. Broad-j 2 dus' mother, who died recently, j ii Hinckley Happenings. The D. D. Girls gave a bundle shower to Miss Bly" Moody and then accompanied her and Mr. Beal to the depot where they boarded the train for Salt Lake to be married in the temple. The club members brot many nice and servicable presents. They also carried out their color scheme, pink and white, bot'i in j the decoration and lunch. After Bly's and Mr. Peal's j honey-moon trip to Ephraim, the couple will return to Hinckley Hinck-ley where Mr. Beal will teach in the District School. The wedding dinner will be served at the bride's home. Sept. I loth. Over (K) guests have been invited and 7o will be seated at the table at once.
