Nearly all of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Bennett met in Deseret on New Years day to celebrate cele-brate Mrs. Bennett's birthday. A delicious turkey dinner was served to 29 members present. Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Bennett of Richfield and all of their family, Mrs. LaRue Willden and her family of Granger, and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barben, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Barben and four children of Marysvale and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stewart and Russell and Cindy of Delta. Keith Barben took pictures of the group, games were played and a wonderful visit was had by all present. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stewart made a trip into Provo Saturday. Cindy and Russell visited with their grandparents during the day. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen returned re-turned home recently from a nice trip into Calif. They visited with their grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lyman and family in Riverside, with Mr. Hansen's sister, Mrs. Lucille Lu-cille Parmley in Whittier, Calif and with the Kimball Hansen family in Los Angeles. Kimball is on a Sabbatical leave for this year, teaching at the University of Southern California. Kimball and his family visited in Utah during the holidays also. They visited in Delta with the Hansen family and in Bountiful with his wife's family. Miss Margaret Hansen and Miss Jane Turner drove to Mesa, Ariz, and into Nogales, Mexico on a four day trip during the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Moody just returned home from a three week trip hunting sun and warm weather. weath-er. They visited in St. George with Mrs. Moody's brother, the Glen E. Snow family and Mrs. Rosmund Westover. In Overton, Nev. they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Richard May (Ora May Bishop), the Taylors Tay-lors of Hinckley and attended church and saw many familiar faces from this area. In Boulder City, Nev. they visited with a nephew, Carl Snow. They went sight seeing in Searchlight and Needles, Calif, and in Lake Havasu, Nev., they saw the "London Bridge" being reconstructed over a section of the stream. They traveled in their car and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time together. Ethelyn Hardy attended the class reunion at the high school in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Anderson and family spent four days in Green-river Green-river with the Anderson family during the holiday, Tim's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Anderson and Mrs. Irene Stanworth of Oasis spent Saturday in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Black spent most pf the Xmas season with their children, three days in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Blacik and Mr. and Mrs. George Wilde. One evening a delicious dinner was served with the Keith Blacks joining join-ing them. A few Xmas gifts opened and a very pleasant evening. Monday Mon-day they went on to Boise to spend the Xmas week with the Max Black family. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Black and boys came to Boise to visit with the Max Blacks, also Mr. and Mrs. Max Christensen and family. Tuesday they all left for Orem and Wednesday came to Delta. Kirk and Sharon Stromberg and Georgette Cook of Washington, D. C, who spent the holidays at the home of Sharon's mother, Ruth Steele left Delta last Wednesday to return home. They visited in Salt Lake two days. Mrs. Steele went with them and visited her sister, Beth Brasher who was in the hospital for surgery, also visited visit-ed the Garff Maxfields. The Maxfields came to Delta for New Years and visited with parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Maxfield. Mrs. Steele returned home with them, TlllllEI WAKII MRS. ROBERT ASHBY Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lake went to Salt Lake on business. Dec. 29th Mrs. Ila Forster, Mr. and Mrs. Niel Forster and three' children of Delta, Mr. and Mrs. Austin McWilliams and son, Justin of Granger and Mr. and Mrs. Gor-dan Gor-dan Phelps and three children of Afton, Wyo. had a family get together to-gether and dinner at the Legion Hall. A very good time was had by everyone. Miss Vicki Mork visited in Salt Lake a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Pack. Mr. and Mrs Jack Church of Og-den Og-den visited with a" brother, Mr. and Mrs. George Church and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Horlocker and three of their children stayed over night with Bishop and Mrs. Lem Lovell and family. Then Nancy and Fichard Lovell went to St. George with them to stay for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ashby and family went to Ely Friday and stayed till Sunday with Bob's family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Ashby. Saturday, Sat-urday, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Ashby entertained the family at a dinner. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Oliver were hosts to the family for dinner.
