Show HUFF PIES DIES mr air henry huff a pioneer of mil lard county prominent in and financial matters died at his home in oasis on thursday novem ber from general debility inci dent to age henry huff was born in salt lake city dec 18 1862 the son of hen ry huff and elizabeth stayley H huff u ff he eary came to millard county and I 1 bad had resided here tor for thirty two tuo years coming first to oak city and in 1908 to oasis where he took an active and influential place in the aff affairs airs of west millard county he was married in 1882 to thurza thurber who proceeded prece eded him in 1922 from that union the fell following owing mrs airs alta huff ivory salt lake city mrs hazel works oasis dark clark hutt huff of laimore rill more golden L hurt huff exam iner n charge of the defunct tooele thoele bank in 1929 mr air huff married his wife a sister mrs hattie nelson no children were born to that union funeral services were held in oa sis saturday afternoon conducted by bishop alma christensen and the following foll oming were the speakers milton moody prayer song by the oak city quartette john lovell of oak city and marcus of oas S who paid tribute to the pass ing of their friend A solo ind and by oak city choir and bene diction by george finlinson Fm linson of oar city the funeral arrangements were conducted by L N nickle henry huff waa vas one of the pro motors of the oasis state bani and for many years was its president he was influential in the conduct of the deseret irrigation company which he served as a dirc ector up to the time of his death he was a success tul ful farmer t nd livestock raiser an I 1 was a buyer and seller of alfalfa seed he was identified with it iti cally every project for the better ment of his section and his influx ence was felt in all the affairs of west millard county |
