Show Former Oasis 7 Resident Dies 0 In California 1 Nels Peter Jensen died at his hi home i in Riverside California Californi on or December 6 after a lingering ill III- ill ill- ness Mr Jensen wal wa born in Des- Des Deseret Deseret eret on April 9 1834 1884 a son of N. N P P. and Bertha Berth M. M Pedersen Jensen 1 Mr Jensen had lived in Oasis for tot form m many ny years ears coming there with his I family when he was several years I old He taught school in Oasis for fox several years as a young man He lie was married to Carrie Came Black of ol et Dese-et on September 9 1908 and made his home in Deseret for sometime some sometime time while he worked in the Oasis Creamery Nineteen years ago he and Mrs Jensen removed to Riverside Riverside Riverside River River- side California where they have made their home since and where where Mr Jensen worked in an orange and lemon plant installing ma ma- chinery He did considerable traveling traveling trav tray eling cling i in this work overseeing installations installations installations in in- in other plants Mr Jensen Is survived by his wife and t two vo children a son Don Kenneth Kenneth Ken Ken- neth of Riverside Cal and anda a daughter Mrs Lois Welda Velda Sauer of Oakland Cal There are also three brothers George Jensen and Axel Jensen of Deseret Desere and Andrew Andrew An An- drew Jensen of Oasis and two sisters sis sis- sisters sisters sis sis- Mrs Marcus l of Oasis and Mrs Inga Black of ot Deseret Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p. p m. m Dec 19 9 in the Riverside Chapel under the direction of the first councillor of the bishopric of the Riverside L. L D D. S. S Church Interment was there therein in the Evergreen cemetery Mrs and George Jensen attended attend attend- ed the services from here Their brother Andrew was in Riverside since October Mrs Jensens Jensen's sister sister sister sis sis- sis sis- ter Mrs C. C Cropper from Delta was also at the services |
