Show Oak City Youth Dies Tuesday; flifes Friday Julian Roper Finlinson, 19, died early Tuesday at the family home in Oak City after a long illness. His health had been impaired for years following rheumatic fever. He was born Jan. 15, 1933, at Oak City, a son of Ray and Frankie Roper Finlinson. He had attended uak City elementary school, and had attended Delta high school until he withdrew on account of poor health. He was active in priesthood work as far as possible, and held the office of an elder. During his prolonged illness he had completed much fine handwork. hand-work. Articles, made by. him, including in-cluding a knit shawl, have been exhibited at the county fair, where they were awarded blue ribbons. He is survived by his parents, and the following brothers and sisters; Bumis R. Finlinson, Raymond Ray-mond R. Finlinson, Bryce R. Finlinson Finlin-son and George Garth Finlinson, at Oak City; Paul R. Finlinson, serving ser-ving an L D S mission in Samoa: Mrs. Noreen Shipley, Lynndyl, and Mrs. Georgia Whatcott, Vernal. Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted Friday at 2 p. m. in Oak City ward chapel. Friends may call at the family home in Oak City Friday Fri-day from 10 a. m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Oak City cemetery, under direction of L. N. Nickle and sons mortuary. |
