Show ETHEL HALE JEFFERY , Hold Services Saturday For Delta Mother Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Hale Jeffery will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. in Delta First ward chapel, by Dr. M. E. Bird, bishop. Mrs. Jeffery died Tuesday at 11:35 a. m. She was the wife of the late Edgar Jeffery, who died of injuries in a car accident three years ago. Mrs. Jeffery was serious ly injured in the same accident. Surviving are eight children, Mrs Rose Jones, of Hurricane Hale, Clara, Ross, Carl, Rachel, and the twins, Alfred and Albert of Delta; her father, Albert Hale, and two brothers and sisters in Idahon. A sketch of Mrs. Jeffery's life will be given in next week's Chron icle. She first came to Delta to teach home economics in the Delta Del-ta high school and following her marriage to Mr. Jeffery had lived here since. She was a devoted wife and mother, and sincere friend. A lifelong member of the LDS church she had served in many ward activities. act-ivities. Her death saddens a wide circle of friends who knew and es teemed her fine qualities. |
