Show Reception Held For Newlyweds A wedding . reception honoring the new Mr. and Mrs. Darrel All-red, All-red, who were married in the Man-ti Man-ti Temple February 2, was held in the HHS gym Saturday evening, eve-ning, February 17. The guests were greeted at the door by the reception recept-ion line which included the parents par-ents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allred, the best man, Orin Allred, bridesmaids, Kathryn Wilson, Wil-son, Marilyn Palmer, Marlene Ek-ins, Ek-ins, and Margene Hilton. The bride looked charming in a gown of white taffeta with a fitted fit-ted bodice and full skirt. A swing-back swing-back lace jacket completed the ensemble. en-semble. The net veil, edged in lace fell from a coronet of pearl flowers. flow-ers. She carried a bouquet of carnations car-nations and orange blossoms surrounding sur-rounding an orchid. The brides -maids were dressed in pastel dresses dres-ses and carried nosegays of roses, carnations and sweetpeas. The mothers mo-thers of the bride and bridegroom wore corsages of white gardnias. Later in the evening a lovely H program was held with Lowell Ben nett as master of ceremonies. Dean Hilton sang "Kashmir Song" and Ladd Cropper sang "My Message". Loa Black then gave an original poem about the bride and groom, after which lone Christensen sang 'Why Do I Love You." The couple received many lovely love-ly gifts for the new home they are making in Deseret. |
