Visiting at the home of Lucille Nielson last Saturday was Miona Ivie and daughter. Donna and husband, hus-band, Ray Knudson of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson attended at-tended funeral services in Hinckley Hinck-ley for Kenneth Damron. Our sympathy sym-pathy goes out to Mrs. Damron and her family. Mrs. Wendell Nielson and son of Hinckley visited at the Keith Nielson Niel-son home Sunday. Seems like this is the flu time of year. Bishop Ben Stephenson was right down with it over the weekend. Many others have had the bug also. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson came home last Saturday from Salt Lake. Louis is recovering from surgery. He has to go back Thursday for a check up with his doctor. The Primary held their Christmas Christ-mas party Monday. The children all went sleigh riding and tubing on the hills south of Lynndyl. Then they went to the home of Councilor Hazel Sheriff for hot chocolate and doughnuts. Sacrament meeting program was given by High Councilman Reece Finlinson of Oak City. With him were Elders, Moyle Anderson and Glade Anderson, who spoke and his daughters gave musical numbers num-bers and readings. Eddie Dutson and the Scouts went out this weekend and got Christmas trees. Don't know what we'd do sometimes without our Boy Scouts. The Relief Society had its Christmas Christ-mas party Tuesday and the Lynn-Leam Lynn-Leam MIA had its also. I think all the college kids will be home this weekend for the holidays. It will be nice to have them back. Let's all try to have the true meaning of Christmas in our homes Love and the rememberance of the birth of our Savior and all he did for us. Mr. Leland Conant has returned home after visiting for ten days In Arizona with their children. Mrs. Pat Maddox was in Delta and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Le-land Conant and other friends. She has now moved back to Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Raymod Smith, Patricia and John were in Salt Lake Saturday. The Delta 3rd Ward Mutual Mar-rieds Mar-rieds had a Mexican Fiesta Thursday Thurs-day night. A delicious supper was served to 43 people. Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bent Mork the Mutual Marrieds held their fireside with teacher Ralph Erickson giving the lession. There were 30 members present. Garrison News BLANCHE RICHARDSON Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gonder took their son, Kevin into the doctor Sunday evening. He had the misfortune to slip on some ice and cut above his eye. ' Mrs. Edith Rowley is reported to be doing satisfactorily after suffering suf-fering a slight heart attack a week ago. , It was learned Tuesday afternoon after-noon that Marthella Jordan had a serious heart attack. She will be confined to the hospital in Winne-mucca Winne-mucca for three weeks. We wish Edith and Marthella a speedy recovery. re-covery. Mrs. Chub Richardson accompanied accompan-ied her parents to Salt Lake last Sunday. They returned Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wheeler drove to Delta Monday, then Tuesday Tues-day morning Chester's mother, Elda Wheeler accompanied them to Salt Lake to get a doctor's checkup. They returned Thursday evening. Mrs. Lee Whitlock and Mrs. Robert Eames were in Ely Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dearden and family went to Salt Lake and back Friday.
