Congratulations to Lieutenant Russel Finlinson, son of Rosie and Walker, graduating from the United Unit-ed States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. I know Russ takes the Chronicle and we all want to wish him the very best of everything as he's a darn swell kid. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson went to Mayfield and Emery to visit friends and relatives on Memorial Day. Mrs. Susan Weigel and son visited visit-ed with Ruth Finlinson, also Rich, Klee and family last week. Mrs. Hattie Anderson has been in Provo visiting with Ray, Millie and family. Mrs. Ida Overson and two children child-ren went to Fountain Green for Memorial Day. Her son, Allen and two other boys went to Oregon for a trip. Mrs. Violet Nielson of Salt Lake is staying with son, Grant and Louise and family for awhile. She is also working on her home she bought from Jay Nelson. She is having some remodeling done and will move here when she retires. Visiting with Mrs. Maggie Brad-field Brad-field over the holiday weekend were Mrs. Dora Bradfield and grand daughter, Ellen Nielson of Scipio. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Bunker on Thursday for Memorial Day was Lyle's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Rile Norton and two of their grandchildren of Provo. Mr. Gary Bunker, student at BYU Provo, is home from his studies for the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Llye Bunker. Mr. end Mrs. Bert Sorenson spent (Tuesday) in Panguitch for Memorial Mem-orial Day and-visited with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Gill Hilton and family of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Whiting and family of Mapleton, Ut., spent Thursday at the home of their mother, Mrs. Vera Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Merton Lovell and three children of St. George are spending a few days at the home of Mrs. Vera Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Creed of Orem were here Sunday painting the outside of their home on Lyman Row. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Warner and and Steven Dutson. Calvin Dutson was master of ceremonies. The program consisted of a piano selection by Mayvonnt Dutson, accordian solo by Eddie Bennett, n skit, composed and presented pre-sented by Roberta Dutson assisted by Dixie, William and Afton Dutson. The bride was beautiful in her dress of orgnnza and lace. The veil was of bride's illusion. The train on her dress was made of organza with lace appliqued roses. A large crowd attended and the couple received many lovely and useful gifts. R. J. LAW FAMILY REUNION Children of R. J. Law, early Delta settler and businessman, met at the home of Lester and Evelyn Cropper on Memorial Day for a ' family reunion. This is the first time in many years that the remaining re-maining children have been together. to-gether. Mr. Oxel Johnson has been home from the hospital now for about three weeks after his heart attack. Sure good to see him up and around again. Little Jimmy Lovell is home from the hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds in the stomach. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Lovell and family went to Salt Lake to see their new little granddaughter (Kay and Jane's) after coming home from the hospital. Our sympathies go out to Jay and Dorothy Alkinson, on the death of their little boy. Wish those darn irrigation ditches could be covered over. for Memorial Day. Tuesday, they visited Dead Horse Point and Arches Monument, Wednesday they traveled to Mesa Verde. They will visit with relatives and friends in Houston, then return home by way of Carlsbad Caverns, Grand Canyon and Lake Powell.
