Glen (Buddy) Justensen, my nephew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Justensen won second place with his band in Idaho Falls Region. Bud has a four-piece band and they play for dances and other entertainment. The four boys are planning to attend BYU next year. They received a very nice trophy. Jenny Styler and Shiriley Skeem visited in Provo Saturday afternoon with Brenda Skeem and her room mates at the BYU. They also visited visit-ed at the home of Arthur Olson, a brother of Jennie's where another brother, Wilburn Olson and family of Sunset met with them. Together that evening they attended th? "Nothing Could Be Finer,' annual Barbershop Musical Show present ed by the Skyline Chorus of Provo of which Arthur Olson Is a member. Special features on the program were "The Classic" a well-known womens barbershop quartet from Bountiful, "The Sweeet Adelines," a group of women singers from Provo of which Arthur's wife, Ileen Olson Is a member. Jimmy Stevens, an outstanding young 12 year old tenor of Payson, thrilled the audience audi-ence with several numbers. Special guests were "The Sidewinders" the National Award winning barbershop barber-shop quartet contestants of Riverside, River-side, Calif. The evening proved to be very enjoyable and entertaining and Jennie and Shirley are looking forward for-ward to attending more barbershop performances during the year. Reminder!
