One of the nicest things about being a grandmother is that when the new one cries you can hand it right back to the new mother." I certainly agree with the first part. There is nothing like being a grandmother. No experience that you have had before can properly prepare you for being a grandmother. grand-mother. I have always thonght that being be-ing a mother was the greatest experience ex-perience that a woman could have. That's only partly true. For the whole truth is that the circle is more complete only with grandchildren. Grandparents who sometimes say, "when the new one cries you can hand it right back to the new mother," very likely choose those words to say "My life is more com plete. There is a continuation of myself and it's right there in that tiny precious body." People are very adept at saying something to hide their true feelings. feel-ings. The opin ion was received by Mayor R.S. Morrison and City Attorney Eldon A. Eliason Saturday. The opinion partially resolves a long standing conflict between Mayor Morrison and Delta City Council. In May, 1967 council voted un animously to contribute $1,000.00 to the Millard County Resource Development Association. Stating that he believed the action both Immoral and illegal, .Mayor Morri son refused to sign the check. In July, 1067 Delta City Council requested a Writ of Mandamus from Judge C. Nelson Day to request re-quest the mayor to comply with the action of the council. Judge Day refused the mandamus. manda-mus. Apparently he was not presented pre-sented with the question as to whether or not Delta City could appropriate funds for resource development to a joint board established es-tablished pursuant to the Utah Interlocal Co-Operation Act. Aug. 14, 1967 at a regular meeting, meet-ing, council created a Delta City Re sourses Development Ass'n. Named to serve on the new resourse development association were Bill Bishop, Leo Burraston, Don Bird and Councilman Evan Gardner.
