Grebe, Utah field services ser-vices representative for the United States Brewers Association, has been named Director of the organi zation's New Mexico Division, it was announced today by Edward V. Lahey, New York, President of the brewers' trade association. Grebe has served in the Utah- Wyoming Division since the office was established in Salt Lake City five years ago. Prior to that Grebe served as u sports writer on Salt Lake City newspapers. Prominent in sports' circles, Grebe also was a free lance radio and, television sportscaster and is a past president of the Utah Hot Stove League. For ten years he was public address ad-dress announcer for Salt Lake Bee baseball games and for three years was announcer at University of Utah basketball games. Grebe, 41, was graduated from the University of Illinois school of journalism in 1942 and came to Utah that year as a member of the U. S. Air Force. The announcement of his appointment ap-pointment in New Mexico comes during the 100th anniversary of the brewers organization, oldest Incorporated Incorp-orated trade association in the country. The brewers association works with licensing and enforcement enforce-ment authorities in maintaining wholesome conditions for the legal sale of malt beverages.
