Mr. Sampson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Sampson, of Delta. Receiving with the newlyweds were their parents, and bridal party,. Mrs. Ila -Webb," matron of honor, Gwen Lazenby. Alice and Kay Sampson, Geneal Peterson and Diane Lister, bridfsrn)ris and Col leen Fowles and Neil Sampson asi flower girl and page. Lolan Morrill was best man for the bridegroom. The bride was lovely in a wedding wed-ding gown of pleated nylon tulle and lace over satin, styled with bouffant, floor-length skirt, fitted bodice with hi;.?h neckline and long tapered sleeves. Her veil of illusion was held by a tiara of pearls, and she carried a bouquet of asters and red roses. Her bridal attendants were gowned in pastel shades, and carried msegiys of asters and roses. Leon Hunsakr was master of ceremonies for the program. Taking Tak-ing part were Judy Miller, piano solo; Iris Holman, whistling solo, with Linda Walker as pianist; musical reading by Julia Lambright accompanied by Linda Walker; Rex Stone, vocal solo, and Mrs. Harlan Stone as accompanist. The new Mr. and Mrs. Sampson are now making a home in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Sampson is employed. MHY JOHNSON Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Berst and family from Oildale, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson over night Monday. Mrs. Berst was the former Alice Greenleaf, who lived in Leamington years ago. She is a cousin of Mr. Overson. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson and Keith are spending a few days in Ely, Nevada, with Mr. and Mrs.4 Nephi Schwab. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Talbot and Children were down from Midvale, Monday they visited in Fillmore with Mrs. Talbot's parents and Tuesday here with the John Tal-bots. Tal-bots. Mrs. Glendon Lambson and four children arrived Sunday for a ten day stay with the Harry Carring-ton Carring-ton family. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wilk'ms and Mrs. Cora Carrington were in Salt Lake for the day Saturday. Fool Creek canyon was the seen.; of a Camp Cook dinner after a 5 mile hike for the two boys. Gordon 1 ove'l and Reece Johnson. This hike completed the requirements for 'heir 2nd class scout test. The Young Mens Mutual was reorganized, re-organized, releasing Wallace Nielson Niel-son as counselor and Welby Lovell as secretary. Gordon Nielson was given the 2nd counselor post and Burton Hanson was put in as sec-retarv sec-retarv to assist Floyd Bradfield, Presdent and Stan Bradfield 1st counselor. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bradfield went into Provo Friday and drove up Deer creek canyon fishing. The Lovell reunion was held Saturday Sat-urday in Leamington park. A large crowd of the descendants of Geofge Lovell enjoyed lunch and visiting wiith each other. Mr. and Mrs. Roily Larson and two chldren are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Nielson. Reed and Carol Swensen and children of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Gillen at Oasis and the Randle P. Swensens in Hinckley. Sacrament Meeting Sacrament meeting was under the direction of the Ward Show committee Sunday night, with Oren Bliss conducting. The choir sang "Who's on the Lord's Side", and "God, Our Father, Hear Us Pray." The prayers were given by Walter Ekins and Gladys Carter. Three boys gave their report on their week at Boys State. Phil Bennett reported on recreation: Elwin Wright reported on special speakers they heard at Boys' State and Ronald Morris reported on the elections. Ted Harris, home on vacation, after spending 3 years in the Philippines, Phil-ippines, where he is employed by R.C.A. as an electronics engineer, took the rest of the time and gave a most interesting talk on Philippine Philip-pine government, their religion and their general way of life. The closing song was "Abide With Me. 'Tis Eventide". After the benediction, Mr. Harris set up his movie projector and showed films taken in the Philippines and gave a most interesting and very enlightening en-lightening lecture, explaining the films. His mother, Mrs. Ted (Cora) Harris accompanied him. Our ward show this week will be "A and C Meet Key Stone Kops," with Abbott and Costello, plus a short "SHhhhh!" Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dutson and daughter Julie, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Dutson and son Doyle and Dennis and Christie Dutson drove to Garrison Gar-rison Sunday to visit Ray Dutson. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pringle of San Diego, Calif., visited with the Lorin Dutson family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dutson took the Pringles rabbit hunting which was a new thrill for them. Mrs. Pringle is a granddaughter granddaug-hter of Mrs. Dora Blake Cox of Shelly, Idaho, formerly of Hinckley. Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Carter and daughter Carrie, of Ely, Nev., spent Thursday in Hinckley. Bud Carter, Jeff Carter and John Crafts of Ely, Nevada, spent Satur- their brother, Rex Gardner.
