Show Max Hannifin, manager of the local Tri-State Lumber company office, is in Salt Lake City at the LDS hospital. He will be there two weeks for medical treatments and observation. Mrs Ina Poulson and baby daughter, spent the past week in Delta visiting her mother, Mrs. Alice Petty. They returned Monday Mon-day to their home in Garfield. u Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and four children from sSon I 1' were weekend visitors with v parents, Mr. and Mrs r eit 1 Sampson. ' eorge v Oasis Mrs La Veda Bishop Mr. and Mrs. Kent from Salt Lake City visited with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ethel Skeem, for a few days last week. Mrs. Annie Skeem returned to Salt Lake City with the Kents and went on to Brigham City to attend at-tend the funeral of her cousin, Mrs. Anna Peterson Poulson. Tuesday morning Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cropper and Mrs. Evelyn Eve-lyn Hawley went to Brigham City to attend the funeral of Mrs. Poulson. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop and son, Jerold, attended the Bishop family reunion Friday and Saturday Satur-day which was held at Glacio Park in Cottonwood canyon. Berdell Memmott and Fred Skeem spent a couple of days in Salt Lake City last week. J. Eeed Barney from Sheridan, Wyoming stopped in to see the Clark Bishop family a few minutes Tuesday morning and bring greetings greet-ings from their son, David, who is serving on an LDS mission in Wyoming. Wy-oming. Mr. Barney is a brother to Virt, Avon and Pat Barney. Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Stapley, and Mrs. Leila Maxfield, attended funeral services in Hurricane Friday Fri-day for Mr. Stapley's sister, Mrs. Sarah C. Roundy. Mrs. Roundy died July 19, and her husband, ' the late J. . Roundy died June 26. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Cole and children returned this week from a vacation trip to Yellowstone national na-tional park. |
