Show WILL SKINNER LAID TO REST Impressive funeral services were held December fourth at the ward chapel in Beaver for Will Skinner. Hosts of friends and relatives paid their last tribute to his memory. A profusion of beautiful .flowers covered cover-ed the casket. The services were in charge of Bishop Wesley Farrer, the burial being be-ing conduucted by the Deseret Mortuary Mor-tuary company, of Provo. The opening song, "Tho Deep'ning Trials," was sung by a male quartet oomposed of Kent Morgan, Frank Smith, Milo . Baker and Chase Murdock. Mur-dock. President T. W. Gunn offered the opening prayer. The quartet sang, . "My Father Knows." Bishop George Paice and President Carl Tolton, each spoke words of consolation to the bereaved family. Mrs. Thelma Barton sang "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose." The closing song, 'O My Father," was by Lamar Morgan and Walter S. Tolton offered the closing prayer. . The grave in Mountainview cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated by John Skinner. William Skinner was born in Beaver, Beav-er, April 12, 1882. He was a son of James Horace and Ellen Cartwright Skinner. Surviving are the widow, Josie Ashworth Skinner, two sons, Lloyd, 8; and Kenneth, 3 years old. Also the following brothers and sisters sis-ters : Mrs. Laura Cox, Joseph, Henry, George B., Beaver; Horace A., Ezra James, Mrs- Chase Tolton, Provo, besides be-sides many other relatives. - |
