Show SOCIETY Kensington Mrs. Charles Crawford entertained the members of the C. H. club at her home Wednesday, Dec. 5, with a Kensington. Ken-sington. A delicious two-course luncheon lunch-eon waB served to eight ladies. Mrs. Crawford was assisted in serving by Mrs. Charles Crawford, Jr., and Miss Ida Crawford. P. H. C. Club at Mrs. Smith's The P. H. C. club spent a most delightful de-lightful evening at the home -of Mrs. Ross Smith, Friday, Dec. 7. Bridge was played, Mrs. Orina Carlson winning win-ning high points and Mrs. Alda Young honors. Dainty refreshments were served to the following: Mrs. Tthel Neilson, Mrs. Orina Carlson, Mrs. Alda Young, Mrs. LaVern Carter, Mrs. Louise Campbell, Mrs. Nettie Kirk and Mrs. Lulu Clay. Pierian Club The Pierian Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Henry Bowman, on Monday evening, December 10th. Those present were the Mesdames L. G. Clay, D. A. Baxter, Ray Outzen, Roy White, Bruce Allyn and R- B. Young. Mrs. Young conducted the Government lesson on the Department of Labor, which proved a very interesting inter-esting chapter. Mrs. Baxter read several current events which were sent 'in by Mrs. Willard Nichols. Dainty refreshments were enjoyed by all. The next meeting will be held December 28, at the home of Mrs. Willard Nichols. I Elite Club The Elite club spent a jolly evening even-ing at the home of Miss Virgia Kill-am, Kill-am, Monday, December 10. Sewing was the feature and a most interesting interest-ing radio program was enjoyed. Miss Bessie Killam was elected supervisor of the club. A very delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to the Misses Maxine Kirk, Stella Hollis, Olive McCulley, Catherine Bradfield, Bemice Outzen, Audrey Raines and Vernice Smith. Past Noble Grand Club The Ella Stancliff Past Noble Grand club, entertained their husbands hus-bands and brothers Wednesday evening even-ing in the I. O. O. F. hall. Nineteen I Past Noble Grands and guests' sat I down to a delicious turkey dinner, served by the ladies. A Christmas i tree adorned the table and each guest received a present from Santa Claus. Mr. and Mra. Karl S. Carlton were especially honored, as they expect to leave soon for the east. An appropriate appropri-ate gift was tendered Mr. Carlton. His response was exceedingly touching. touch-ing. After the monthly business meeting, meet-ing, games were played and an hour of good fellowship enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. George Litchfield, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Carlton, Carl-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cottrell, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Coleman, Mr. and Mrs-H. Mrs-H. M Jennings, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sherwood, Mrs. Selma Carlson, Ted-die Ted-die Kronholm, Mrs. Martha Armstrong, Arm-strong, Miss Ida Crawford, . Harold Crawford, Mrs. Susan Glenn and Mrs. Vena Wilson. C. H. Club The C. H. club met at the home of Mrs. Crawford this week. The evening was spent in sewing and visiting. At 10:30 a delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to the following: Mesdames Potterson, Robinson, Martin, Mar-tin, Singleton, Easton, Carter, and Hollis.
