Show m Funeral Held For Simeon Kesler, 71 Simeon Kevler, 71, w'ellknown western Beaver county farmer and stockraiser for many years, died early Monday morning at the Milford hospital, where he was a patient. Death was ascribed to a heart attack, combining with troubles incident to age. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the local L. D. S. chapel with former Bishop George H. Eyre of South Milford and Bishop Bert H. Weight as speakers. Musical numbers were given by a mixed chorus, while Eb Tanner offered the opening prayer pray-er and former Bishop Glen Black-ner Black-ner of Greenville gave the benediction. bene-diction. Burial took place in the Milford cemetery. Simean Kesler was born January Jan-uary 9, 1870, at Salt Lake City, the son of Joseph and Annie Pitts Kesler. He had made his home in and near Milford over a long period of time and had the respect of all with whom he was acquainted. Surviving him are a brother, W. H. Kesler of Cove' Fort, and a sister, Mrs. Maud Veador of Salt Lake City. Several; nephews and nieces also survive.! |
