Show HENRY BOWMAN ; DIES IN PROVO i Henry K. Bowman jr., 47, manager ! of the Continental Oil company's . wholesale plant ut Provo, and :. j former resident of Milford, died j Thursday of last week of heart I trouble at the fariuly residence, 207 'East Thiid South street, Provo. He was ill four months. Mr. Bowman was born' August 1 1880, at .St. George, a son of Henry E. and Mary Gubler Bowman. He moved with hiis parents to Colonia Ibublan, Mexico, in IIO0, where he a-tended a-tended the Juarez stake academy. I-ater he attended Brigham Young univtr-ity. He filled a mission for the L.. 1). S. church to Mexico City from 1'J04 to 1'jOC. He married Eva Done June 3, 1H0X, in the Salt I -ake L. D. S. temple, returning re-turning to Colonia Dublan to make their horn-. Mr. Bowman came to Milford in 1922, and became manager of the wholesale bulk plant of the Continental Oil company, serving 'until going to Provo, a year ago. Through Mr. Eowman's efforts U.e Boy Scout movement was organize 1 in Beaver county. He also served as a member of the Beaver county school board four years. Besides his widow and mother, Mrs. Mary G. Bowrr-an of Logan, he is survived by two ,-ons and five daughter., Marlon, Melvin, Ixirra:n, . Betty, Mary and Joey Bowman, Pr. -1 vo, and Mrs. Eva B. Hanks, Minersville; Miners-ville; Deveroux Bowman. Kanah; Claudius Bowman. Colonia Dubla' , Mexico; Demar Bowman, Cedar City; Harold Bowman, Salt Lake, and Miss May belli Bowman, Logan. n |
