Show ROBERT EYRE DIES OF HEART AILMENT Robert Ernest Eyre, 64, died last Monday morning, Oct. 2nd, at the home of a son, Robert Eyre Jr., in Provo, of a heart ailment. Mr. Eyre was born Dec. 22, 1885, in Minersville, a son of Benjamin and Lucy Ann Wood Eyre. He received his education there and worked for a time with his father on the family farm. In 1911 he accepted a call for a four-year mission to the Hawaiian Hawai-ian Islands for the L DS Church. He married Lucy Lavern Bent-ley Bent-ley of Parowan, Oct. 5, 1915, in the St. George LDS Temple. She died Feb. 1, 1943, in Provo. They made their home in Minersville Min-ersville and Mr. Eyre worked in the Union Pacific shops in Milford. Mil-ford. In 1930 they moved to Provo and he accepted employment employ-ment with the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Co. In 1942 he became an attendant at the Utah State Hospital. - |
