There have been times when they have ceived nothing in the way of awards but they have received high praise and words, of ap-proval.' We have had reason to be proud of them at these affairs and also when we have seen them out practicing, but I am afraid that this time at the Festival we will hang our heads in shame if their practice sessions are any indication of what is to come. How can a band do anything when they show no respect for their Uacher? How can they learn to march or anything else when they act like wild cattle turned loose when they come For outdoors for practice? school students they are high and disrevery spectful. May I ask how many parents of these students have watched these practices? They, I am sure, would not be very proud Former Student observed the band at a time when they were assembling for marching practice, and a little too much Spring mischievousness was in their blood. The students in the band agree it was a regrettable exhibition, and they have apologized collectively and individually to Mr. Hancock, other faculty members, and the student body. Milford High school kids are probably no worse or no better than other kids. We think, a lot of them, and admire them a lot more for realizing they had conducted themselves in an improper manper and for properly apologising for their conduct. Editor. Smart W, Cont.
