Show Services Held for James Ross Lang Funeral services were held from the Milford Ward L D S Chapel, last Saturday for James Ross Lang, Beaver County pioneer, pio-neer, who died at his Milford home on Wednesday, Jan. 11, of. a heart ailment. Services were under direction of Carlyle F. Gronning, Milford First ward bishop. The opening prayer was given giv-en by .Parley B. Fisher. A male quartet, Mr. Hansen, Mr. i ' 1 t $ 1 I- r'" ) - . James Ross Lang Stott, Mr. Gronning and Mr. Bud Zabriskie, sang "Oh My Father. . j The obituary was read by Mr. Rudolph Nielsen. j Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes sang a vocal duet, "In a Garden of Roses." Mr. Mel Heslington made appropriate remarks, followed fol-lowed by a talk by Bishop Gronning. The quarilet sang "Going Home, and Mrs. Ardith Outzen gave the closing prayer. Mr. Lang was born August 13, 1867, in St. Thomas, NeV. He was a son of David G. and Mary Loftwopd Ross, but was reared by Mr. and Mrs. James Lang. His entire life was spent in Beave rCounty. |
