Constitutional Amendments CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT IN DELATION TO MINIMUM WAGES FOR WOMEN AND MINORS A Joint Resolution Proposing in Amendment Amend-ment to Article 19 of the Constitution, by the Addition of a Section Relating to Minimum Wan for Women and Minors; and General Welfare of Anj and ail Emplayee. Be It resolved by the Legislature of the State of Utah, two-third of all the member mem-ber elected to each home concurring therein : SECTION I. That H b proposed to amend Article 16 of the Constitution by the addition ol a section which will read as follows fol-lows : SEC. 8. The legislature mar, by appropriate appro-priate leg is la t ion provide for the establishment estab-lishment of a minimum wage for women and minors and may provide for the comfort, com-fort, health, safety and general welfare of any and all employees. Possession Posses-sion of or Traffic in Intoxicating Liquors, Be It resolved by th Legislature of the Stat of Utah, two-thirds of all members mem-bers elected to each House and two-thirds two-thirds of all the mev-Jbers of each House concurring therein: SECTION 1. Repealing Section I of Article 22. That it is proposed to amend Article XXII of the Constitution of Utah in the following particular, to-wit : That Section S of Article XXII of the constitution of Utah be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION J. Duty of Secretary of State. Th Secretary of State is hereby directed to submit th proposed amendment contained con-tained hereinto to the elector of the state at th next general election in the manner man-ner provided by law. SECTION 1. Effective Date. If adopted by the electors of the state this amendment hall hav effect on the first day of January Janu-ary next succeeding a determination by the Board of State Canvasser of the result re-sult of th election designated in Section 2 hereof.
