Wendy Draper, Beaver, has organized the event for the past five years. In past years it has been held during the Thanksgiving weekend. With numerous booths and a huge crowd of shoppers, it's popularity was evident. However, Mrs. Draper was quick to point out that sales receipts will undoubtably determine future scheduling. While hunters tromped through the hills last weekend in search of food for the family, "hunting widows" converged on the annual holiday craft fair at the Beaver Armory. Although most displays were provided by local crafters, some came from as far away as Hurricane, Orem, and Salt Lake. Randal Hardy and family, Crafty Creations of Hurricane, set up a popular balloon art booth, to the delight of the youngsters. "This is our 2nd year here. It's a great show and we all enjoy it," ; Nancy Carter and daughter Charis, Milford, displayed their wares at the Beaver show last j weekend. With a little help from Mom and Dad and enthusiastic support from other family v members, Derek, Charis and Damon Carter have launched their own business.
