Friends and relatives are invited to attend the event which will be held at the Woman's Cultural Hall, 310 W. 500 N., Provo, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The couple requests no gifts, please. were The Thaynes married June 26, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Both the Thaynes and the Greenwoods were among the first four families in south Salt Lake which, in the early years was called Fort Union. They attended school at Union, Midvale, MMWMKHMMMk Mr and Mrs Clifton i i 1 A.-- M , ,ju& f. .w E. Thayne .J A and Jordan High schools. Mr Thayne was employed by the Midvale Smelter and has held other positions in the area. Among his accomplishments he is a writer, pianist, and organist. He has been active in the LDS Church. His wife, Mirla, is a writer. She has written two books and published 17 songs. She has won many honors for her writing and has her name in "Who's Who of Famous Women." She is a member of the League of Utah Writers and also in the American League of Pen Women. She is also active in the LDS church. Hosts at the open house .
