Eighteen little friends enjoyed games and refreshments. Mr. & Mrs. A. Newel Jenson left Tuesday for Bancroft, Ida., to make their home. On Monday night West Jordan 2nd ward officers and memoers honored them with a farewell party. A gift of a lovely book was presented. A baby girl came to gladden the home of Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Drake. She was born March 12 at the Cottonwood hospital. Mr. & Mrs. Vance Wood made a business and pleasure trip back east They returned in a brand new automobile. Mr. & Mrs. Alva Wbitehouse and daughters, Linda and Terri JaJne, and Mr. & Mrs. Blaine Wbitehouse of Tooele were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Clara E. Beckstead. Friday evening Dorene Lloyd and Carolyn Hogan entertained at a personal shower honoring Mar-jori- e Jenson. It was held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Sterling Mer-riin West Jordan. Miss Jenson was married on Thursday to Ted V. Jones, son of Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Jones of West Jordan 2nd ward. A reception was held in honor of the couple Thursday evening at the Avaloo ballroom in Crescent. Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Nelson enter tained at a family Tuesday night. The enteire family was present and guests were Mr. & Mrs. Wallace Fife of Louisville, Ida., parents of Mrs. Nelson, and her brother and sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Wells Barney, tt n Q & Peru, which were very interesting, . iney are masing uieir nome ai present in Bountiful, and will return to Peru in June. The West Jordan 2nd ward auditorium was filled to capacity Saturday night when the play, "Patsy," was presented by West Jordan Stake M.I.A., under direction of Mrs. Amanda Brown. Mr. & Mrs. Clifford Justensen and daughter, Judy, visited Sunday with relatives in Spring City, Utah. Mr. & Mrs. E. M. Baseman were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. & Mrs. Heber Hand at their home in Salt Lake. Mrs. Thelma Cavenda and daughter, Karen; Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Bateman, Mr. & Mrs. Glen Beckstead were guests Thursday night at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Milo Baxter in Midvale. Mr. & Mrs. Willis Higgs (the former Leah Bax ter, are home from Oroya, Peru, for a short stay.
