Organ Remains as Parting Gift of Midvale Minister Memories of Dr Harvey H Templin, pastor of the Midvale Community Methodist church for the past three years, will drift through the minds of church goers in the future as they listen to music of an organ recently installed through his efforts. Dr Templin, who left last week for a new pastorate in Hanna, Wyo, shortly after installation had been completed, lead a four month drive to raise funds for the new instrument. The 81 year old minister was seconded in his campaign by a five member committee & the 86 members of his congregation, who raised $2777 for purchase of the organ, helped by what he termed "generous contributions" of Midvale business & professional men. Committee members aiding Dr Templin on the project were Mrs Ross Wallgren, chairman; Mrs T R Peeler, treasurer; Mrs Arnold Troester, Mrs William Davies & Mrs Charles H Gary. Dr Templin, who will reside In Hanna with his daughter, Mrs Ruby Tate, & her two sons, served as pastor of the Midvale church since June 1946. He had previously held the pastorate at Delta, Colo. He entered the ministry after graduation from the Wesleyan university, Salina, Kan, obtaining his first pastorate in Luray, Kan, in 1898. Utah m i( Adop!
