Hollis Aylett and Mrs. Kelvin Aylett entertained at a second in a series of bridge luncheons at the home of Mrs. Kelvin Aylett Friday afternoon. Tu.day Club Meets At Kelloli Home Mrs. Harold Nelson entertained her bridge club at her home Tuesday afternoon. Preceding t h e bridge games a dessert luncheon was served. Genealogical Committee Entertains For Officers Wallace Bateman, D. LeRoy Bateman, John Richards and Mrs. Carrie Stocking, past officers of the West Jordan ward Genealogical committee were entertained at a party Wednesday evening at the ward chapel. The party was given by the new officers, U!onard Peterson, Frank Schmidt, Theodore Booth, Mrs~ Stocking and Mrs. Goldie Pearson. A program, games and refreshments were enjoyed by 40 members. Angus M. Christensen, stake chairman, and Mrs. Christensen were special guests. Mrs. Jensen Entertains Pinochle Club Mrs. Jerry Wellington and Mrs. Florence Fitzgerald won the prizes for high scores when Mrs. Helen Jensen entertained her pinochle club at her home in Crescent on Thursday afternoon. Preceding the card games a one o'clock luncheon was served to Mrs. Eleanor Martin, Mrs. Jane Jensen, Mrs. Vanda Parker, Mrs. LaRose Harrison, Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Wellington and Mrs. Anna Smith who was a special guest. Holt-Sharp Nu]ltiala Announced Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holt of South Jordan announce the marriage of their daughter, Maxine Holt, to Ariel Sharp of East Midvale. The marriage took place in the Salt Lake temple Friday, March 15. The couple left immedi,ately for their honeymoon to Fallon and Lovelock, Nevada. They will make their home for the present in Provo where Mr. Sharp is completing his master's degree at the B. Y. U. A number of parties have been given in the young couple's honor of which the most recent was a party given by the younger set at the Holt home when 28 friends were bidden. On Wednesday afternoon of last week the bride's mother and aunt, Mrs. Verle Wardle, entertained at a shower. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by 32 relatives and friends.
