WEST JORDAN Mrs. James A. Bateman, Mrs. E. M. Bateuui.n, Mrs. Lydia Bateman, Mrs. Roas Bateman and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Palmer attended the funeral aervice of John Lewis Wight, 11-yearold son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wight of 35 Miller avenue, held in the Miller ward chapel Monday afternoon. Mr. Wight is a brother of Mrs. Lydia Bateman of this ward. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Palmer entertained at a surprise party Monday night in honor of their son Don's birtliday anniversary. Games and luncheon were enjoyed by twenty guests. Miss Doris Cundick is home after spending two weeks in Midvale. Miss Rehabel Butterfield has returned to her home at :mverton, after spending two months here. Don't forget the big Salt Lake County Firemen's dance to be given in the West Jordan amusement hall Saturday, December 13th.
