Bartlette of Salt Lake spent ten days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Ashment of Social avenue. Walter E. Borg spent the week-end with his familv. He is employed at Twin Falls, Ictaho. Tuesday evening, October 28, the M. r. A. will have general assembly after the regular class work. Chorus and public speaking will be taken up and pie \vill be sold by the Beehive girls. Miss Beatrice Simpers was a guest at a dinner party Thursday evening at the home of Lila Christensen of Salt Lake. Mrs. Blanche Bradford entertained at a quilting Wednesday. Dinner was served. Covers were laid for Mrs. Leonard Sharp. Mrs. Henry Hansen and Mrs. Ran Sharp. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Barneycott and daughter Nettie of Salt Lake were. Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. . Annie Simpers. Thornton and Mrs. Jack Tho ·nton visited Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Charles Thornton. C. \V. Thornton left Wednesday for New York in the interest of the Counterflo Heater company of Salt Lake. Mr. Thornton expects to be gone about two weeks . Mrs. R. H. Sharp and son, Stanley, and Mrs. Leonard Sharp spent last Thursday afternoon as guests of Mrs . C. A. Rosenhan and Mrs. Andy Swenson. Mrs. \Varren Cole was a Murray visitor on Fl'iday, dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Toone. Mrs. Grace Hancock, sister and house guest of Mrs. E. A. Robertson, returned home Thursday after visiting the past week with relatives in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Swenson and family joined Mr. and Mrs. Ed Orgill of West Jordan and motored to Tooele, Sunday, where they spent an enjoyable time with relatives. Leo Glover, Clarence Sharp and Cort A. Rosenhan enjoyed a deer "bunt" in the West range, Sunday and Monday. The Sunday school class of which Alma Jennings is teacher tendered him a party last Satm:day night at his home. Games, music and luncheon were enjoyed. Mr. Jennings has been called on a short term mission and expects to leave in about two weeks. Brigham S. Young of Salt Lake delivered a most interesting lecture Sunday evening at the regular sacrament meeting. "K. S. L. Eddie" gave a number of banjo numbers and R. H.
