Horace Burgon accompanied Mr. and Mrs. William Cox of Salt Lake on a motor tour to Oregon where thay visited Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Christensen. Mrs. Christensen was formerly Miss Reba Cox. Daughters of Mrs. Jessie Berrett, Mrs. Melva Evans of East Midvale, Mrs. Eva Brady and Mrs. Verdis Howard of Holliday, entertained a number of friends and relatives Saturday evening, complimenting her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Flora Walker, Mrs. Jessie Berrett and Mrs. Carrie Coomber joined other members of the Unity Club, ladies from Salt Lake and spent a very pleasant afternoon last Fri· day at Liberty Park. Mrs. Alonzo Bushnell of Fillmore is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Cox of Salt Lake. They will also visit relatives and friends in this section. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Jensen of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jensen and children motored to Ogden Sunday and visited friends. Miss Elva Brady is confined to a local hospital where she underwent an operation for appendicitis, Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Hy Brady entertain· ed Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Clemon Green. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Price of Bing· ham are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson. Miss June Smart is a guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Earl White of Sugarhouse. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fryer and children motored i:o Salt Lake Sunday and visited with relatives. Mrs. Carrie Jenkins and children, and Mrs. Henry Jenson of Bing· ham and Mrs. Hans C. Jenson and children were guests Thursday of Mrs Jacob Jenson. They enjoyed luncheon on the lawns of Liberty Park. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wardle and children are enjoying a few days in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Mrs. Lester Sjostrum and Mrs. C. C. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Glover, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Olson and children, left Tuesday morning for a visit to Levan. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Rasmussen and children, Katherine and Darrell of Maroni and Mrs. Fanny Wells of Provo spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Borg. They motored to the air field and the children, with Mrs. Rasmussen enjoyed an airoplane ride. They also enjoyed a trip to Saltair. The Blue Bird class of the Primary met at the home of Mrs. George Hicks, Monday afternoon and enjoyed their recreation hour. Ten mem· bers were present.
