April 21 as their wedding day. The bride is the daughter of Donald R. Packer and the late Voneal G. Packer, West Jordan. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Willie J. Tarver, Arvin, Cal. The bride is a graduate of Bingham High and was Miss Date chosen by Sandy couple in 1981. She attended the U of U. She is now employed by the State of Utah in Kaylei Anderson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Duane R. Anderson, Sandy, will marry Michael Loren Jones, son of Mr and Mrs John Jones, Sandy, on Mar. 30, 1984. Ceremony and reception will be in the Sandy 17th ward chapel. Attending the bride will be Lisa Atkins, Lori Stock and Jennifer Jones as bridesmaids. Tarver is a graduate of Arvin High and is attending the U of U where he has been a member of the football team for the past three years. I i i "t 1 i i ORGANIZATIONS, CLUBS Shelly Ann Packer Christian Women's Club Bingham Junction DUP Women's Club Federation holds annual convention The Christian Women's Club has scheduled a luncheon program at the Heritage House, The Bingham Junction Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Thursday at the home of Luann Larsen, Midvale. Mildred Brown conducted the meeting. The lesson on Pioneer Relics and Museums was given by Nell Peterson. Mrs Larsen read a history of a pioneer relative. Refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs Larsen. The Central District of Utah Federation of Women's Club will hold its annual convention Saturday, Mar. 31, at the Bingham Lions Club, Copperton. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served. General session will begin at 9:30 a.m. President Martha Pasker will conduct. Hosting club is the Bingham Women's Club. Cub Scouts of Bingham will present the colors and lead the pledge of allegiance. Randy Ross, Midvale Ladies' Community Club, will be one of six presidents giving club 1983-8for activity reports first vice Nash, Carolyn president, will present the Club Woman of the Year award. Nominees are Bonnie Cochran, and Civic Tooele League Virginia Weyland, Woman's' Club of Tooele. A musical program will be given by Kevin Olsen, eighth grade Reflections winner from Bingham Middle School. Guest speaker will be N. J. Tullos, principal of Bingham Middle 4. School. The luncheon will be served by the Bingham Women's Civic Club. Nominating committee chairman, Faye Meyers, will present the new slate of officers for 1984-8They are Carolyn Nash, Garnet Sorenson, president; 5. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, for Tuesday, April 10, at 12:30 p.m. Speaker will be Gayla Register, travel tips will be given by Tobi Arrasi and music will be provided by David Rowe.
