Show Burn unit receives fire fighter's donation 3 Two Utah firefighter T organizations have donated $3,000 to the Intermountain Regional Burn at Center University Hospital. A delegation from the Professional Firefighters of Utah and The International Association of Firefighters, Local 1645, visited the burn Election set for SCD supervisors The election of two supervisors for the Salt Lake Soil Conservation District (SCD) will be Jan. 29, according to Dr. Kenneth B. Trimble, West Jordan; and Dee Withers, Riverton. SCD supervisors serve four year terms. The board is comprised of five members. The continuing board members are Jim Matsumori of. Draper, Dale Bateman of West Jordan and Jim Day of Draper. Ballots have been prepared by the Utah State Department of Agriculture and are now being sent to land occupiers whose names are on the county Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service mailing list. Any land occupier is eligible to vote in this election. A land occupier is defined as any person who is in possession of any land situated within the district, whether as an owner, contract purchaser, tenant, or otherwise. If a land occupier wants to vote and has not received a ballot by Jan. 18, a ballot can be obtained by sending a written request to the Utah State Soil Conservation Commission, 147 N. 200 W., Salt Lake City, 84103, or by calling Sandy Boy Scouts G.
