The complex will replace the old Boise Cascade homes the city has been using to house its finance and building departments. It will add 2,600 square feet to city hall. One of the old Boise Cascade homes was moved to the public safety station; the other was sold at bid. The new complex was built by Boise Homes for $120,000. announced, "within one year we'll be very close to having the critical areas resolved at least to the point where children are not jeopardizing their safety, walking to school." In the Majestic area, plans are being finalized to lay a sidewalk on 7000 South east of Redwood Road. The project will be completed through the use of community development monies.
