BILLS, U.S.M.C. of interest, A social function was the marriage of Miss Donna M. Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaVerl L. Brown of Sandy to Sgt. Ned L. Bills of the U.S. Marine Corps, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lancelot Bills of Riverton. The marriage took place Sept. 20, at the home of the bride's parents, with Bishop Edward B. Beck-steaof Riverton officiating. The bride, who was unattended, wore an attractive red gabardine suit with black accessories, with a lovely white orchid corsage. He is at present stationed at Oakland, Calif. . d ODD FELLOWS DANCE AT NEW LODGE HALL Ucder the auspices ot the Sandy I.O.O.F. No. 11, a western style dance was recently hell at the Sandy Odd Fellows hall, which is still under construction. The dance was the opening function in the new recreation now. with members of the Rebekan and friends as special loc'p.e piests. Music was furnished by the Parker boys of Granite, The new I.O.O.F. hall ha beet under construction for some time, the work being done by th? members. It is hoped the hall will be completed in the near futur1. as special functions are planne5 to be held October 29 and aso Jo vember 8, it has been annouuied. THE MIDVALE (Utah) SENTINEL STRICTLY BUSINESS The Sandy Lady Lions spent an enjoyable evening Friday at the Charm Studio, 731 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, when Ruth Tolman, director, gave a most interesting talk and demonstration on "Charm," and the basic rules to follow to acquire charm in personality, poise, dress, grace, speech and all things in general. Mrs. Ann Delquadro, president of the club was in charge, with Mrs. Marguerite Vernon as chairman of the porgram. Following the program, the group enjoyed dinner at the Canton cafe. There were 14 in attendance. The November meeing of the Sandy Lions Auxiliary will be held at the home of Mrs Vie Beers, and a most interesting program is planned.
