Progressive Hearts were played, first prize going to Mrs. Clarence Sharp, consolation to Miss Thirza Berrett. Besides to Mrs. Cutler, a very dainty luncheon was served to Mrs. R. E. Miller, Mrs. Ran Sharp Mrs. G. C. Walker, Mrs. R. H. and C. S. Sharp, Mrs. C. A. Rosenhan, Mrs. Ren Sharp, Miss Thirza Berrett of Un~on, Miss Hazel Jensen and Maurine Cash of Sandy, Miss Rosalie Olson, Miss Vaur Sharp, and Miss Grace Middleton, Miss Lygia and Phyllis Larsen. CHEESE Mrs. Henry Ray underwent an operation successfully at the St. Marks hospital Tuesday morning, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McNamara and children motored to Provo Sunday and visited relatives and friends. Friends of Miss Fern Larsen will be pleased to learn she will return from Monticello during the week, to spend the holidays with her parents and also to be married on Friday to a Mr. Powell of that place. Mrs. A. H. Rock was a Salt Lake visitor Saturday. Mrs. Lester Forbush has spent the past ten days in Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Maxfield and children of Mountain Home are vislting relatives here indefinitely. Mrs. Jack Larsen entertained at a quilting bee Thursday afternoon. Dinner was served to twelve guests including Mrs. C. I. Goff, of Midvale Mrs. Jack Crane of Salt Lake, Mrs. Neal Olson, Mrs. Howard Gorringe, Mrs. Arnold Beckstead, Mrs. F. In this exhibit there is some of the finest work of Utah artists. The display has been shown for about five weeks. During this perio!i many students' parents and teachers have grown to understand art better. An interesting picture is that of Eastern Draper with its towering mountains and silver clouds, in a field of azure blue, its fertile soil and green fields filled with peach trees in blossom.
