The mothers and daughters sang, "M. I. A. We Hail Thee,' Jed by Ann Shields; opening prayer was offered by Ivy Wardle; piano selection by Miss Fern Beckstead; welcome speech by Mrs. Fred Tiedemann; solo by Helen Beckstead; vocal duet, Marinda Becltstead and Bernice Holt; a tribute to mothers and paper was given by Mrs. Verena Newbold; vocal solo, Ann Shields; piano selection, Marie Holt; a report of the year's work was given by Mary McMullin; vocal solo by Iona Nelson; Vivian Peterson gave a toast; remarks by Pres;dent Rela Bateman, and a response from the mothers, by Si:;ter Lenm·a B:!ckstearl: harmonica selection by Ann Shields, and the d oF;'lg prayer was offered by Essie Holt. A three-course dinner was cerved. The M. I. A. colors, green nnd gold, were carried out. Large baskets of fruit and flowers and also lighted candles were the table deco-:-ations . Nielsen and Mrs. Dorothea Newbold visited with Mrs. Frank Reading of Midvale last Wednesday. Sunday evening sacrament meeting vras conducted by Bishop B. H. Beckstead. The opening prayer was offered by Walter A. Mabey and the choir, led by bassistant choir leader, W. H. N cw ·old, sang, "To the l\Tighty God Appearing,'' "Come, Listen to a Prophet's Voice,' and during the passing of the sacrament, "Again We Meet Around the Board."
