Hales Los Angeles Mrs Mary Peterson and Mrs Geneva Geneva Geneva Gen Gen- eva Cox Manti 28 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren great one brother brother brother bro bro- ther Julius Gunnison and three sisters Mrs Dorothy Keller Keller Keller Kel Kel- ler Manti Mrs Jennie Alder Lo Logan Logan Logan Lo- Lo gan and Mrs Mary Salina Funeral Held HeId Funeral services for Mrs Jensen were conducted by Bishop Gler GleI Anderson of the South ward in th the th Center ward chapel Sunday afternoon after after- noon The funeral was very well attended and there was an abundance abundance dance lance of lovely flowers Prelude and d postlude music was furnished by the Nielson sisters and the op opening op- op ning ening song was My Task by a ladies trio Edna Pack Carol Lowry Lowry Low- Low ry TY and Amy Bond accompanied by Mrs Airs Della Delia Cox The The invocation was by Ernest after which Miss ML Jane Anderson played 3 1 medley of pioneer songs on the organ Wilford was the First speaker and told of his associations associations associations asso asso- with the family of Mr Jensen who was in the city council during Mr 1 term asa as asa asa a city official He also spoke of associations with the sons and daughters and with the grandchildren grandchild grandchild- ren whom he had taught in school He remarked how Mr and Mrs Jensen would have celebrated their wedding anniversary on October October October Oc Oc- I tober 30 and then told of her many fine characteristics including her music ability He gave considerable history of the Jensen family and told how Mrs Jensen had 18 grandsons grandsons grandsons grand grand- sons in in the armed forces and corresponded corresponded corresponded cor cor- responded with all of them He spoke of the J Jensen Jensens being married in the St. St George temple how she had worked to get means to buy her wedding dress and that thal now her family members totaled persons He told how she had maintained a youthful attitude and kept a keen interest in affairs of her family church and country She loved people and everyone was welcome in her home She was a woman of great faith and believed implicitly in God and the restoration restoration restoration of the gospel through Joseph Smith and in the power of the priesthood She loved children and was courageous and optimistic she suffered but kept her suffering to herself She had a deep sense of humor and enjoyed wholesome fun the speaker said Claire and Pauline Dyreng accompanied ac accompanied accompanied ac- ac companied by Lucille D.
