Show Funeral Held For H. H Joseph Snow Funera for Joseph H H. Snow Sr 90 were held in the Manti ManU North Ward Vard chapel Monday Mr Snow died last Friday at the home of his daughter Mrs W W. S. S Price in Junction Mr Snow was born bom in Provo January 21 1860 a son of James C. C and Jane Roberts Snow He I married Mary M. M Nielsen of Sterling Sterling Sterling Sterl Sterl- ing in 1884 and they later moved to Kingston where he operated a ranch for 30 years Mr Snow was in the bishopric of the Kingston ward for 30 years and was wn also ll o an active church and worker as a home missionary temple worker He was the first mail carrier between Sterling and Mayfield holding this position for 6 years Surviving are his widow Mrs Nettie Squire Snow Salt SnIt Lake City four daughters Mrs Nettie King Manti Mrs W. W R. R Riggs Gunnison Gunni- Gunni son Mrs W. W S. S Price Junction I and Mrs B B. R. R Lyon Ogden five sons Joseph H. F Parry Goin Coin Home and Love I Divine and two vocal duets by Venice Braithwaite and Ruby Nielson Nielson Nielson Niel- Niel son Jesus Lover of My Soul and andIn andIn In BIn The Garden Miss Pauline Parry accompanied all aU numbers The biography of Mr Snow was read and it told of his being an early settler in Sterling of o his moves to Emery and later to King King- ston It told of his active church work and of his 30 years in the i Kingston bishopric The biography I told that he and his wife came to Manti and did work for over names in the Temple Bishop Girven Stott spoke of his acquaintance with Morell and of their attending school together He Hei i told of the fine influence Mr and Mrs Snow had on the lives of their children Alma C. C Peterson told of the faithful ward work done by Mr Snow He said he was a faithful ward teacher and well informed on the principles of the gospel Bishop Calvin Keller spoke of the Snows as a fine family and told of knowing them since they I came to Manti He said Morell was wasa a fine worker when he had him in his employ He admonished the family to live good lives as had their father Dedication of the grave in the Manti cemetery was wasby I by B B.
