Show New Grandson s ' J Mr. and Mrs. David Alder returned home April 6 after spending a week at Fort Carson, Colo., with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred (Carma) Peterson and family. A new grandson had arrived for the Petersons March 29. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 oz. and was welcomed by two brothers, Jeramie and Kevin, and a grandmother, Mrs. Charlotte Peterson, Sterling, Utah. First is a Boy Mr. Mrs. Jack E. (Lynette) Kenzler, Payson, and announce the birth of their first child, a son born April 9 at Utah Valley Hospital. He will be named Jeremy J. Kenzler. March Unite Julie Ann Olson , Val Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack White, Ephraim, and Mr. 1 1 Miss Julie Ann Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas H. Olson, Ephraim, and Val D. Hawks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn Hawks, Blanding, were united in marriage in a temple ceremony at the Manti Temple on Friday, March 11 at 12 noon. Bliss Daniels, a counselor in the temple presidency, officiated. The bride wore a white satin gown with a nylon overskirt. The empire waist featured a high scooped neckline edged with lace and the same trim bordered the ruffle on the bottom of the full length skirt. The long puffed sleeves ended in a lace trimmed cuff. A crown of net and seed pearls released her fingertip veil of net illusion. She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis and babys breath centered with a white orchid. Her attendants were LaRee Squire, Sharon Olson, Debbie Green, all of Ephraim; Marilyn Ballard of Payson and Verlil Hawks of Blanding. Their gowns were all of light blue polyester crepe trimmed with white lace. The groom recently returned from Hong Kong, where for two years he served as a missionary. He will continue his education at Snow College. Julie Ann is employed in Ephraim. The young couple enjoyed a short honeymoon trip to southern Utah. A New Son Mr. and Mrs. Randy B. Larsen welcomed a new son to their family on Mar. 31. He was born in the Sanpete Valley Hospital, weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. He will be named Timothy J. He has a brother, Tyler, to welcome him. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Larsen, Ephraim, and Mrs. Jack Shand, Manti. are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Seely, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Roy S. Bardsley, Provo. Richfield. are Mrs. Marie Lund, Ephraim, and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Manwill, Richfield. Renee Beazer and Paul Mangelson Announced Celebrates Mr. and Mrs. Keith J. Beazer, Ephraim, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Renee, to Paul M. Mangelson, a son of Dr. and Mrs. Farrin L. Mangelson, also of Ephraim. Renee is a graduate of Manti High School and will graduate from Snow College in June with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Child Development. She will also graduate with a four year certificate from the Institute of was assistant to the president to two mission presidents. While on his mission, Paul toured his mission singing with the "New Era" church group. He is a graduate of Manti High School and a four year Seminary graduate. He is presently attending Snow College, where he is majoring in Electrical Engineering. He will graduate from the Institute of Religion this spring. She is a graduate of Manti High School and also served as vice president of the high school. She is a four year graduate of the Seminary and in 1976 graduated the Institute of Religion with a two year certificate. Paul has recently fulfilled a two year mission in the Fort Lauderdale Florida Mission. He their education at Brigham Young University. Their marriage will be solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple April 22, 1977. That exerting there will be a reception in their honor from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the Ephraim West Ward. Speakers will be Gordon Allred, Helen Crane and Bill Hartley. Dr. Allred is a prolific author of books, short stories, and articles. Directed by Ardith Peterson Miss Renee Beazer Social Security Recipients Must Report Earnings People who earned over $2,760 and got one or more monthly social security retirement, dependent, or survivors checks in 1976 must submit an annual report of their earnings to social security by April 15. The report shows how much was earned in wages and income last year by people who got monthly social security payments as well as how much they expect to earn this year. The report will be used to determine if people were paid the correct amount of social security benefits for 1976. It will also be used to adjust their monthly 1977 social security payments according to their estimated earnings. Full social security benefits could be paid to eligible people in 1976 if they earned $2,760 or less for the year. But no matter how much they earned for the year, they could be paid their full social security benefits for any month they earned $230 or less and didn't do substantial work in their own business.
