Show Manti Messenger Tryouts for July 17, 1975 Community Theater Set Births Tryouts for the upcoming Sanpete Community Theater 1 presentation of the play Remember Mama will be held Tuesday, July 22 at 9 p.m. at the Snow College Little Theater in the Noyes Building. Every- First Grandchild Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shand announce the birth of their first grandchild, a 9 lb. baby boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Randy (Susan) Larsen. His name will be Tyler Randy. His other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Larsen of Ephraim. A Mrs. Edna Bardsley, lives in Centerfield. one, including children, is welcome to attend and try out. Library Notes r, GOLDEN WEDDING OBSERVANCE will honor Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy J. Anderson of Ephraim on Friday, July 25. Second Son Tom and Marilou Myers are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy born to them June 29 in Huntsville, Alabama. The 8 lb. 4 oz. baby will be named Jonathan Douglas. He is welcomed by an older brother and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Dyreng, Manti, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Myers of Santa Monica, California are grandparents. Tom is completing medical school in Huntsville at the University of Alabama. Ephraim Couple Will Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Grant, Bountiful; LaRue Greenland, Cody; Lela Meidell, Bountiful; and Tony, Kavsville. They have 18 grandchildren. LeRoy and Henrietta have lived in Ephraim all their married lives. After being in the lumber business for 45 years, the active couple are still keeping their days busy by remodeling a home in Ephraim which they plan on moving into. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy J. Anderson of Ephraim will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary Friday, July 25. Family and relatives will honor the couple at a dinner in Provo that evening. You have to live on the north end of town close to the temple or at Lillie Kellers location at 453 North Main and look out of the door or window at the beauty. Its Class Reunion Held The Ephraim High School graduates of 1955 held a 20th-yea- r class reunion at the Embers Saturday afternoon. Sibyl 0. Bessey was chairman and assisted Sandra Nielson Johnson with the clever and attractive decorations. They used the blue and gold class colors for their theme. Place cards were constructed carrying pictures of class members at the time of graduation. Following the turkey dinner which was served to 43 guests, Dorothy Jean Anderson Peterson assumed emcee duties. As the result of her questions, such as who had the largest family, who came the greatest distance, who had changed most in appearance, who had largest waistline, etc., many awards were presented, Wayne Sevy receiving five. Those present were asked to write the past 20 years most exciting event, pass them in unsigned and guesses were made regarding the author. A brochure was presented to all members regarding the happenings and accomplishments of each one since graduation. No deaths have occured among the group. Plans were made to repeat the reunion in five years. She is now employed by the State of Utah Division of Family Services. The groom is the son of Mrs. Zella Miller of Manti and the late Alden Miller. He is employed as a bakery manager for Albertsons Inc. Mrs. Hayiey Anderson, her daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Kerry Kay) Stevens of Fillmore and a grandson of Mrs. Anderson, John Taylor, son of Reed and Barbara Taylor, drove to Moses Lake, Washington in July to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd (Nanette) Fletcher and f.mily. The travelers reported that it rained all the way on their travels, but in spite of it, they" were able to enjov some beautiful scenery at Shoshone Falls and in the Thousand Springs area. They spent a day along the Columbia River io the Ginkgo Petrified Forest, v huh is a unique place of tropical wood. Grace and Kerry Kav retained home by way of Pullman, Washington and visited wnh Day and Zella Basset' a brother-in-laand sistei of ,vjr Anderson. They returned home via Lewiston, Idaho bv wav of the Salmon River to Boise and then to Salt Lake City, T,hn stayed to help Boyd and Nanette with their irrigating :: :: Lake.
