Show Manti South Elaine Higham 2 Telephone 835-446- of the Bryan McArthur family and the Ronald J. Miller family from Salt Lake City enjoyed a dinner and a at the Manti City Park last Saturday afternoon. The occasion waS"to honor Mr. and Mrs. Danny Miller on their All first wedding anniversary. Danny and Patsy went through the Manti LDS Temple that day and were sealed. Some family members and friends accom- panied them through the temple. Other guests at the dinner were all of Dannys grandparents, some aunts and uncles and some friends from Salt Lake and Chester. Lee Olsen, wife and family of six children and two friends from Tooele were here from Tuesday until Friday visiting Lees mother, Erma Olsen. Among other fun things they did was to go fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Schmidt had their daughter Verna from Provo as a Fathers Day visitor. The Schmidts also received a telephone call from their son in Oregon. Bud and Marge Steck from Salt Lake City stayed overnight from Saturday to Sunday on Fathers Day weekend. Her father is Eugene Carpenter. Millers for a while. Sunday and Monday a week ago the Gerald Andersons spent time in Murray visiting their son Glen, wife and family and also their son Gail and his family in Sandy. Mrs. Ruth Hill and her son and a friend from Salt Lake City came to Manti to visit at the Henry J. Colby home for the Fathers Day weekend. A visitor at his grandparents home for the summer is Tony Madsen, son of the LaVar Huntsmans daughter, Mrs. Violet Madsen of Murray. Mrs. June Peacock Harris from Seattle, Washington has been spending the past two weeks visiting her mother, Mrs. Calvin Peacock and brother Frank. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brunger (Mary Ruth) from Orem have been visiting at the Bruce Barton home for Fathers Day. Mark and Corynne Armstrong of Bountiful spent the past weekend with the Larry Stahles. Dr. Carlyle Miller of Hawaii is in Manti on business and to see to his house in the South Ward. He was a visitor at Sunday School in the Manti South Ward on Sunday. Among the guests attending Stecks open house was Reginald Sidwell from Helper. He is a good friend of the Stecks. Literary Club Visiting Mrs. Marie Lund this week is Mrs. LuElla Shultz Robinson from Salt Lake. Carol Mortensen of Salt Lake and Ivan Mortensen of Dugway visited Paul Mortensen over the Fathers Day weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Goble entertained their family on Fathers Day.
