Blackham of Moroni has received word from the Pacific Egg and Poultr Association, an organization of which her husband was president-elect at the time of his death, that $3,281.50 had been received to date for the Cliff Blackham Memorial Scholarship Fund. This money came from many friends in Sanpete County, as well as from friends from many parts of the United States. Quoting from the letter Mrs. Blackham received: Truthfully, this memorial fund caught hold of people's hearts and there was a tremendous recognition accorded Cliffs memory. The Pacific Egg and Fmi'try Scholarship and Research Foundation was organized in 1965 by dedicated poultry industrymen for the purpose of providing scholarship aid to young men and women seeking a career in the poultry industry. Young men and women interested in a poultry career are encouraged to seek scholarship support. Candidates are recommended on a basis of reed, scholastic ability, career intention and personal recommendations. High school students cn'er- - ing college may quahfv to receive a scholarship with a stipend of $250 00 or more to defray expenses encountered during the first year of college.
