Show Manti Messenger Manti, Utah Thursday, April 24, 1975 6 Manti South Elaine Higham 2 Telephone Recently Glen Anderson, his wife and two children from Murray, visited at his parents home for the weekend. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Dona Peterson Telephone 835-545- 3 835-446- Gerald Anderson. The next weekend Mr. and Mrs. Gail Anderson and their two children from Sandy also spent a weekend with Gailss parents, Gerald and Eva Anderson. Eva and Gerald Anderson drove to Salt Lake Friday, April 11 to be present on April 12 for their son Gails birthday. They returned home on Sunday. Visiting Bedelia at the Madsen home for the past several days have been Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Peterson and three of their children, Chuck, Judy and Kerry and also a friend, Sandy Hughes of Bellflower, California. They also visited at the John McIntosh home. Mrs. Peterson and Bedelia Madsen are sisters. Stanley and Ruth Brox have been happy to have their son, Lees two children stay with them over the weekend while their parents took a business trip to St. George. Mrs. Farrell Funk had a granddaughter from BYU as her guest last weekend. The granddaughter, Sandra Green, is from Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Sidonia Whiting from Milford has been visiting with her sister, Mrs. Violet Madsen. Sidonia returned home on Monday taking Violet with her to spend a week. Violet will be present at Sidonias missionary farewell. She has been called to serve a two year mission to Louisiana. Mrs. Patsy McArthur Miller was rushed to the Mt. Pleasant Hospital for an emergency operation a few days ago. Patsy is now back in Manti staying with her mother, Mrs. Leora McArthur. Mrs. Beth Call and son David spent the weekend in Salt Lake City shopping and vacationing. They went to see The Ice Capades Saturday night at the Salt Palace and returned to Manti Sunday afternoon. In Manti Sunday to attend the special sacrament meeting Mr. and Mrs. Duane Peterson and son David from Salt Lake City visited at the home of Duanes mother, Ann Peterson on Saturday. They returned to their home that evening. Leon Peterson who works away from home during the week, came to Sterling and joined other family members at his mothers for a short while. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Memmett, Scipio, were visitors and dinner guests at the home of Don and Berniece Ottoson on Sunday. Mrs. Doris Memmett is a niece to the Ottosons. Sunday afternoon Mrs. Don Ottoson was in Utah County visiting briefly with relatives. She returned home that same day. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Mclff and her father, Elmer Ludvig-son- , enjoyed a Sunday in Provo with Dr. Bruce Mclff and family. Clint and Lee Ludvigson from Salt Lake City joined the group for a short while, then the Ludvigsons took his father, Elmer, back to Salt Lake with them where he will visit and spend a spring vacation. Mrs. Lucien Peterson accompanied her daughter, LuDon to Ephraim North Ward where they attended sacrament meet- - ing. LuDon is a member of the Singers of Note choir and participated on the program. returning home. Mrs. Behunen said they really had a good time and didn't have to do any Lucien Peterson and Roy Thomas were in Provo Monday where they both kept medical appointments. They came home Monday evening. On August 11, April 18 Sterling will hold their 1975 Town Reunion Day on Saturday, May 24 at the Sterling Ward Chapel according to committee chairman, Mrs. Rose Mclff. Plans are being made now and all residents and former residents are asked to mark the calendar and reserve this day for this special event. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Johnson and Bonnie Curtis went to Taylorsville to attend a baby shower for their daughter, Barbara. A son, David and wife came from Ogden to share in the event. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stilson, a son Blaine and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bell were visitors at the homes of Edwin and Sharon Stilson and the Harmon Parrys on Sunday, April 20.
